kiedis is reminded of slovak by a photograph, and hreminiscenceses bout the past: when they were kids, making music, taking drugs and slovak's eventual death from heroin overdose. slovak's gone and he can't come back, the only way kiedis can meet him is when he crosses to the Otherside.
