As we ushered in the new year with flaming lambos, long island ice tea and later monopoly, I felt a rush of confidence and enthusiasm. It's as if the broom has swept clean the baggage of 2005.my birthday really summed the year up - sick with fever at home, with a few close buddies who bothered to visit. what would i do without some of you guys, i really don't know. now I find myself writing down resolutions that are more concrete and at the same time less serious than those I failed to keep last year.

I will come to love running.
I will become a gym freak again.
He summised long ago that the typical South African player seeks physical dominance over his opponent -- a raw, aggressive mentality embedded in the country's history
I will run my first vertical marathon towards the later half of the year.
I will not club till I get to America in late November
I will buy RISK & Monopoly and constantly torment people to play with me.
I will go to Wala Wala as much as I can with cheechong to watch EIC.
I will go to Wala Wala as much as I can with Alex to watch the Unexpected.

this one's tentative on jimmy. ming - we are going to get so drunk that we will piss from the balcony of your 23rd floor apartment in New York and then puke from it.

and there is another one. hmmm. loneliness is really an inner condition. and I remember a saying from a Japanese serial, "I have never been lonely in my life. Never ever." The character was a hardcore ice hockey player. So whenever it tries to creep up on me, I'll hit the road.
