pensive at 3 when i need to wake at 5

i live for the thrills, the kills, and the spills. now i think i am ill.

(from casablanca) rick: of all the gin joints in all the world, she had to walk into mine.

Llsa: Play it once Sam, for old times sake. Play as 'Time Goes by'
You must remember this
A kiss is just a kiss
A sigh is just a sigh
The fundamental things apply
As Time Goes By.
And when two lovers woo
They still say, 'I love you'
On that you can rely
No matter what the future brings
As Time Goes By.

( ps: Gabriel Gn doubt u will read this, but i haf just sms-ed u. Your 11B military identification card for the Casablanca DVD we bought in Bali. fair trade. failure to agree will result in you signing 10 extras- )

to dance this life together with you till events do us part. then we dance alone or with others till a time when our star crossed fates might meet again. for better or for worse.

and i keep blabbering to no end of that which never occured. conjured images lost in a spinning cranium. which reminds me of dota. conjured images of a terrorblade do they have the effects of the cranium basher???? but who buys cranium basher on a tb anyway. i am spouting nonsense.

Decadence of Western Capitalism permeates our society...hmmm...

from last night's cloudy experiences after a Mai-Tai, Graveyard and gin tonic @ forbidden city and rav, it has occured to me that the growing nightlife in Singapore is a reflection of the increasing moral decadence of our Asian society due to the affluence generated by our western styled capitalist ways.

the young and rich, high flying corporate executives and expatriates - representatives of the soul of our economy indulge in alcohol, cigarettes and mad partying till the wee hours of the morning.

i have a problem with that. parties end way too early. 3am is really neither here nor there. and we still gotta pay midnight surcharge on cabs.

it seems that as people grow older we tend to pick up habits and tastes that our idealistic righteous youth rejected for its supposed evil. the oldies drink stout (bitter) or gin tonic (which smells corrosive) and other forms of pure hard liquor instead of the daiquiris or magaritas consumed by teenagers or the Cokes and sodas of the kiddies. once upon a time, i'm sure many of us thought we would never put a cigarette between our lips and take a long puff; these days many do though i still don't. life can get terrible and gut wrenching very frequently and these are just our routes to temporary escape.

and we run. keep on running.

dirt disgust disho........

ever felt the feeling of being so unclean that no matter how much you scrub the filth can never be erased? the mud of rugby, camo-cream and not bathing for many days during field camp in BMT - none of that had the same effect.

fallen from grace. with the filth and dirt eating deep into your very being.
only the disgrace of being a let down can do that.
